Brazil, in general, lags behind other global regions in Blockchain education, experimentation, and subsequent adoption. As for Brazil’s real estate industry, it was recognized by all panelists that this sector is still very traditional, cautious and somewhat timid in embracing and adopting new technologies such as Blockchain. This is changing. We emphasized to everyone in the audience the need for all players in the Brazilian real estate industry to be open and ready to learn, adapt, and adopt – in order to progressively and successfully survive in a world that is increasingly becoming digitized, globalized and blockchained.
